This is the kind of stuff that I think up at 5 in the morning...

Owning a Bible makes one no more righteous than owning a bicycle makes one Lance Armstrong.

About Me

I am a writer, freelance videographer and independent filmmaker living in north-central North Carolina. This blog is meant to be an online reflection of my thoughts and ideas on things that interest me, that I think might be worth sharing with other people. Although my writing may seem overtly political at times, I do not wish to be known as either a "conservative" or a "liberal". Sometimes I express my more spiritual side, which is that of a Christian who believes that the modern church has become too obsessed with the things of this world. I also enjoy traveling, writing, and having a good time with family and friends. And I'm really good at deep-frying turkey.

Basically I'm just a guy who's trying to be what God made him to be... and having a lot of fun along the way!
